What it does

The sandwich plate ring is placed between the oil filter and the engine, giving threaded ports to connect oil pressure and oil temperature sensors. It is recommended when fitting oil pressure or oil temperature gauges.

Two sets of adapters are included. Type 1 (M20) fits Honda, Mazda, Ford, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Hyundai, and Type 2 fits Nissan, Toyota and Audi. Check which thread your engine uses before fitting.

Fit the plate with the oil filter removed, use new seals where needed and check for leaks with the engine running before you drive. Route the sensor wiring away from hot exhaust parts.
