What it does

The baffles are welded into the oil pan so the oil pump can keep picking up oil when the car is used hard on the street or on circuit. Oil starvation happens during hard cornering and heavy braking, and is a common problem on track. The baffles stop the oil surging away from the pickup as it is thrown around by those forces.
