Where it is used
The Motul Motylgear 75W90 oil is for all mechanical transmissions, synchronised or non synchronised gearboxes, gearbox/differential units, transfer gearboxes and hypoid differentials without limited slip systems.
Conditions
The Motul Motylgear 75W90 oil is made for transmissions operating under shocks and heavy loads at low revolution speed, or moderate loads at high revolution speed. Fill to the level or capacity the vehicle maker gives, and check for leaks after the first drive.
Why choose it
If a gearbox is stiff to shift or noisy, the Motul Motylgear 75W90 oil is specially recommended. It is not for limited slip differentials.
Protection
The Motul Motylgear 75W90 oil is an extreme pressure lubricant reinforced with synthetic base stocks for anti-wear protection, better resistance at high temperature and a longer life. It also has anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties and suits any type of seal and yellow metal used in gearboxes.
Drain the old oil warm, refit the drain plug with a new washer where needed, and fill to the level plug or the capacity your vehicle maker gives. Use the grade and GL rating your gearbox or differential calls for. Check the old oil as it drains: metal particles or a burnt smell can point to wear worth investigating.
