The Motul Eco-clean 5W30 oil is specially designed for cars with petrol or diesel engines that call for the ACEA C2 standard, including Fiat 9.55535-S1 and PSA B71 2290 engines (PSA up to the end of 2017 model year).
Fuel economy
Its composition lowers friction inside the engine, giving a fuel economy benefit. The Motul Eco-clean 5W30 oil can be used in diesel engines fitted with or without a particulate filter, and it is compatible with catalytic converters.
Protection
It brings strong lubricating properties such as wear protection and high temperature resistance, for better controlled oil consumption. As a Mid SAPS oil it has reduced sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur to protect after-treatment systems.
Choosing an oil
ACEA C2 and C3 oils are not interchangeable in every engine, so check the owner manual or handbook before using the Motul Eco-clean 5W30 oil.
Change the oil and filter together, and use the viscosity and approval your vehicle maker specifies. Check the level on the dipstick with the car on level ground, and top up with the same oil between changes. Keep a record of each oil change with the date and reading, and dispose of used oil at a proper collection point. Do not overfill, as too much oil can be as harmful as too little.
