The D1 Oil Sandwich Plate is a D1 Spec oil filter adapter that fits between the oil filter and the engine block, giving you an easy way to install oil pressure and oil temperature gauge sensors.

How it works

Oil pressure and oil temperature gauges each need a sensor in the oil flow. The D1 Oil Sandwich Plate fits under the oil filter, so oil passes through it on the way to the filter and the sensors read it directly. There is no need to drill holes or replace factory sensors.

Fitting

Remove the oil filter, fit the D1 Oil Sandwich Plate to the filter housing with its seal, then refit the filter. Fit the gauge sensors into the ports with a suitable thread sealant, top up the oil and check for leaks with the engine running. The plate adds a little height, so check the clearance around the filter before you start.

Applications

This filter-thread version (M20 x P1.5) suits Honda, Mazda, Ford, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Hyundai engines. Other engines use different threads, so check your filter thread or contact us with your engine code before ordering.

Gauge sensors, gauges and wiring are not included. The D1 Spec water temperature adapters linked below complete a gauge set-up.
