What it does
A fuel pressure regulator controls the pressure in the fuel rail, and with it the amount of fuel each injector delivers. The D1 Fuel Pressure Regulator lets you adjust that pressure, which helps stabilise the fuel supply and keep the air-fuel mixture correct when the engine has been modified.
In the box
The D1 Fuel Pressure Regulator comes with a fuel pressure gauge so you can see the pressure while setting it, two hose connectors and fitting instructions.
Fitting
Work on fuel systems only with the engine cold, the battery disconnected and the fuel pressure relieved, in a well-ventilated area away from sparks. Use fuel-rated hose and clips, check every joint for leaks with the engine running, and adjust the pressure in small steps. A change in fuel pressure changes the mixture, so have the engine checked or mapped after setting it.
