Design

The ARP B Series Balancer Bolt kit has a 1/4 inch thick, wide area washer and an extra tall 12-point head. The tall head accepts a deep socket and removes the worry of stripping the head, which is a common problem with the factory bolt.

Fitting

Hold the crank still with a suitable pulley holder, clean the threads, and torque the ARP B Series Balancer Bolt kit to the figure in the instructions using ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant. It is an easy job to do during a timing belt change.

A loose crank pulley can damage the crankshaft nose and key, so it pays to use a strong bolt whenever the pulley comes off.
