How it works
The VHT Rust Convertor destroys rust on contact. It sprays on clear and turns to a black metal protecting coating that helps prevent future rust from forming.
Surfaces
The VHT Rust Convertor is formulated for use over metal, body filler or fibreglass, and sands to a smooth, even finish ready for paint.
Where to use it
Rust convertor suits surface rust on chassis parts, brackets, floors and the inside of wheel arches, where the metal is still sound. Badly corroded or holed metal should be cut out and replaced first.
Using it
Remove as much rust and scale as possible with 50 grit paper or a wire brush, wash with mild soap and water and dry before spraying the VHT Rust Convertor. Allow 24 hours before applying a top coat. Spray in a well ventilated area, away from heat and naked flames, at a temperature the can recommends. Shake the can well before and during use, and apply several light coats rather than one heavy one.
