What is in the kit

The kit contains cable fasteners, foam cushion pads, dampening springs and connector clips. It is available separately for anyone who needs a replacement kit after servicing or taking apart an electric fan.

Slim fans are commonly mounted to a radiator with ties that pass through the core. The foam pads protect the radiator fins, and the springs help absorb vibration, so worn or missing parts are worth replacing.

Check that the fan sits square to the radiator and does not touch the core or any hoses once fitted, and make sure the wiring is secured away from moving parts and hot surfaces.

Fitment

This is a universal part, listed as fitting all car models. Check that the kit suits your fan before ordering the Slim Fan Mounting Kit.

If you are working on the cooling system at the same time, a water temperature adapter lets you add a coolant temperature gauge.

Keeping a spare kit on the shelf is handy if you regularly remove the fan for radiator or engine work, so you are not reusing stretched ties or flattened pads.
