The DNJ Honda Thrust Washers is made by DNJ Engine Components. DNJ thrust washers are made in two material types: F780 trimetal (sintered copper-lead) and F820 bimetal (aluminium-tin). They are manufactured to meet or exceed OEM quality standards for smooth running.

Fitting

To fit the DNJ Honda Thrust Washers: fit the thrust washers with the oil grooves facing the crankshaft, lubricate them with assembly oil, then measure crankshaft end float with a dial gauge once the main caps are torqued. Replace the washers if end float is out of the factory limits.

Good to know

Worn thrust washers allow the crank to move back and forth, which can damage the block and crank. They are normally replaced with the main bearings during a rebuild. Compare the new part with the old one before fitting to confirm it matches.
