What it does

US-Racing says these harness bars add stability and give a mounting point for aftermarket seatbelts, such as harnesses from QSP, Sparco or Takata. The bar is developed at the right angle for harness mounting, and all mounting materials are included.

A harness bar spans the cabin behind the front seats, so the shoulder straps of a harness can be routed to a fixed point at the correct height and angle rather than to the floor behind the seat. That keeps the straps at a sensible angle over your shoulders.

Fitment

This is a universal part, listed as suitable for Honda and other cars. Check the space behind the front seats and the mounting points on your car before ordering the Universal Harness Bar Silver, and have harnesses fitted by someone experienced with seatbelt installation.

Pair it with harnesses and seats that suit how you use the car, and check your local rules if the car is used in competition. The silver aluminium finish also looks tidy in the cabin, where the bar stays on show behind the seats.
