Exhaust donut gasket specs

Universal header-to-mid fitment. This exhaust donut gasket seals the joint between a tubular header and the mid section, and the teflon ring lets the pipes settle without hammering the flare. Pair it with the exhaust bolt and spring set so the springs hold steady tension and the donut is never over-clamped.

Genuine SRS, stocked and shipped by MCG Autostyling in Kells, County Meath, Ireland. The 45 mm size suits most 1.75 in and 2 in header outlets, while the 51 mm version (TE-B) covers wider 2 in to 2.25 in systems.

Fitting tips

• Fit to a cold exhaust only.
• Inspect the flare on both pipes for cracks or distortion before fitting.
• Do not crush the donut: tighten evenly until the springs are just compressed.
• Re-check the bolts after the first heat cycle.

Replacing a tired exhaust donut gasket is the quickest cure for a blowing joint, a droning cabin or a fresh warning light caused by false air upstream of the sensor. Each ring is supplied singly, so order one per joint. If you are unsure which size you need, measure the outside diameter of the pipe flare and match it to the 45 mm or 51 mm ring before you order.
