Description

This QSP suede steering wheel silver 70mm version has a black suede rim and three silver anodised aluminium spokes, so the silver is on the spokes only. Made by QSP Products, the Dutch motorsport parts brand, it is 350 mm across and dished by 70 mm, so the rim sits 70 mm forward of the mounting face.

Choosing the dish

Dish is how far the rim sits in front of the hub. QSP makes its 350 mm suede wheels flat, with a 70 mm dish and with a 90 mm dish. The 70 mm version sits between the two: it brings the rim closer to you than a flat wheel, but not as far as the QSP suede steering wheel silver 90mm, which has the same silver spokes.

Fitting

Like other sports steering wheels, this QSP suede steering wheel silver 70mm mounts on a steering wheel hub (boss kit) made for your car, using the 6-bolt, 70 mm pattern. If you want to remove the wheel when parked, a QSP ball type quick release can go between the wheel and the hub. The horn button and steering ring come with the wheel.
