Cutting and fitting

The roll is easy to cut to the lengths you need. QSP suggests putting a hose clamp exactly on the cutting line and using a sharp knife, such as a box cutter, with the clamp as a guide. The size given is the inner diameter, so it should match the outside diameter of the spigot the hose goes on. Where a clamp is used, QSP dealers suggest one about 4 mm larger than the hose’s inner diameter.

Other sizes and colours

6 mm sits between the 4 mm and 8 mm sizes listed here. The QSP silicone vacuum hose 6mm blue roll belongs to a set of QSP vacuum hoses listed in 4, 6 and 8 mm, each in black, blue and red. For the same 6 mm size in black, see the QSP vacuum hose 6mm black; for the 8 mm size in blue, see the QSP vacuum hose 8mm blue.
