The Motul RBF660 fluid has a dry boiling point of 325°C and a wet boiling point of 205°C, meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 4. It sits between RBF 600 and RBF 700 in the Motul racing range.
Why boiling point matters
Hard braking on track heats the calipers and the fluid inside them. If the fluid boils, vapour forms in the lines and the pedal goes soft or sinks. A higher boiling point gives more margin before that happens, and fresh fluid keeps that margin, since moisture pulled in over time lowers it.
Using it
Bleed the whole system so only the Motul RBF660 fluid is in the lines, and change it regularly, as all glycol fluids absorb moisture over time.
