About Greenstuff
Greenstuff 2000 is the number one selling EBC sport pad, made for spirited street use on lighter sports saloons and hot hatches. It is a direct replacement for the standard pads, with a high initial brake effect that gives confidence from the first press of the pedal. Nominal friction coefficient is 0.55.
Street and track
The EBC Greenstuff Civic Rear set is made for the road first. Greenstuff is not ideal for track use. For faster street driving EBC suggests Yellowstuff, or Bluestuff, RP or SR pads for racing.
Fitting
Fit the EBC Greenstuff Civic Rear set as an axle set, check the discs are within minimum thickness and free of deep ridges, and clean the caliper slides before fitting. The Brake-In coating speeds up bedding, but drive gently for the first period and avoid heavy stops so the EBC Greenstuff Civic Rear set beds in evenly.
New pads work best on new or skimmed discs, and EBC offers matching discs for most cars. Fresh brake fluid also helps keep the pedal firm.
