About Redstuff
Redstuff is the EBC premium low dust pad for fast street driving on hatchbacks, hot hatches, saloons and muscle cars. It is an aramid fibre, ceramic particle enhanced material with zero steel fibre, so the dust it does make washes off easily and does not etch wheel lacquer.
Street and track
The EBC Redstuff EP3 Rear set is made for the road first. Redstuff is a long-wearing pad and takes around 500km to bed down fully and give its full performance. It is a street pad; for track days EBC suggests its Bluestuff, RP or SR ranges.
Fitting
Fit the EBC Redstuff EP3 Rear set as an axle set, check the discs are within minimum thickness and free of deep ridges, and clean the caliper slides before fitting. The Brake-In coating speeds up bedding, but drive gently for the first period and avoid heavy stops so the EBC Redstuff EP3 Rear set beds in evenly.
New pads work best on new or skimmed discs, and EBC offers matching discs for most cars. Fresh brake fluid also helps keep the pedal firm.
