We offer a vertical hydraulic handbrake for the BMW E36 COMPACT. It’s designed for concealment and quick removal of the lever. A specially adapted thread allows for quick installation/removal of the lever in just a few steps. The renowned OBP pump is suitable for both integration into the system and for creating a standalone, additional braking system. Adapters available in our other auctions make installation and construction of an additional braking system incredibly simple.

The product includes mounting holes and fits the original tunnel openings. The kit also includes a template for cutting the appropriate hole and a cover for the hole, so it won’t attract unnecessary attention in undesirable situations.

When making the hole for the lever, it is recommended to be relatively careful and methodical so that the plug does not fall out and fits quite tightly.

ATTENTION!

Due to the design of the tunnel in the E36 compact, the lever is located in front of the gear shift and to the right of it, so the way it is engaged certainly requires some getting used to.

The brake does not have a ratchet; during installation, some trim levels may require minor trimming of the interior plastics in the tunnel. This does not affect the tunnel’s external appearance.
