About the mat
The Tein Carpeted Mat gives you a perfect lay-down bay for objects that need extra protection against damage or scratches. Lay painted panels, trim, wheels or polished parts on it while you work, instead of putting them straight onto a concrete floor.
The non-slip backing helps the mat stay in place on the garage floor, and at 1000 x 1700mm there is room to lay out a set of parts side by side.
Where to use it
Use it in the garage or workshop, at a car show stand, or anywhere you need a clean, soft surface for parts. It can also be used to kneel on when working on wheels and brakes.
Looking after it
Shake or vacuum the mat to keep grit off the surface, as small stones can mark painted parts. Keep oils and fluids off the carpet where possible.
About Tein
Tein is a Japanese suspension maker, known for its green coilovers and springs and for its mascots, Dampachi and Dampatty. Its merchandise range carries the same Tein branding, so it is a simple way to show your support for the brand away from the car.
The Tein Carpeted Mat is also a practical gift for anyone with a home garage, and the Tein logo makes it a good backdrop for photos of parts.
