What Straightflow states

Straightflow says the 400 CPSI ceramic core increases the surface area for catalytic reactions, converting hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), and that the ceramic is built for high exhaust temperatures and repeated heat cycles.

Straightflow says the built-in O2 sensor port takes factory or aftermarket lambda sensors, and the steel housing is corrosion-resistant. The unit carries E5 approval and is a universal weld-on unit.
