QSP Hood Pins Aluminum Blue (Universal)

Description

This QSP hood pins blue set uses two aluminium pins and two latch plates, both finished in blue. QSP makes these universal pins for competition cars with lightweight bonnets, to hold the bonnet in place.

QSP Hood Pins Blue Details

• Material: aluminium
• Colour: blue pins and latch plates; the locking clips are plain metal
• Quantity: set of 2 (left and right)
• Supplied with: mounting hardware (nuts, washers, clip nuts and screws, as pictured)
• Part number: QB.HOOD ALB

How it works

Each threaded pin is fixed under the bonnet line and comes up through the bonnet, where the latch plate sits on top. The spring clip then goes through the eye at the tip of the pin and keeps the bonnet shut. The set has one pin for each side of the bonnet. Blue pins and plates can pick up blue details elsewhere on the car.

Other options

The QSP hood pins blue set is listed here in four aluminium colours; the others are black, red and gold, for example the QSP hood pins black. If you would rather not have a loose clip, the QSP push button latch closes with a press and opens with its centre button.
