Description
This QSP eyebolt plate is a loose square plate with a welded nut, used to mount a harness eye bolt. It measures 65 x 65 x 3 mm, and QSP says it is made according to FIA rules, so it suits harness mounting points in competition cars.

How it is used
The plate sits behind the floor or panel at the mounting point, and the eye bolt screws through from the cabin side into the welded nut. The plate spreads the load over a 65 x 65 mm area instead of leaving it on the nut alone. The harness end then clips or bolts onto the eye.
What you also need
Each mounting point needs an eye bolt with a matching 7/16 thread, such as the QSP harness eye bolt, which has a 50 mm thread. Check your harness instructions and the rules for your series for the number and position of the mounting points before ordering the QSP eyebolt plate.
