SRS Type 3 Oval Gasket 63mm (Universal)

Description

This oval exhaust gasket is the SRS Type 3 flange seal at 63 mm, supplied as SKU GA-D. It is not the house shape and it is not the triangle shape, so match your flange before ordering. A 76 mm oval version also exists (SKU GA-A) if your pipe is larger: see the SRS Type 3 Gasket 76mm (GA-A).

If you are unsure which seal you need, the two most common alternatives at the same 63 mm size are the 63mm exhaust gasket and the triangle exhaust gasket 63mm. Compare the bolt spacing and the outline of your old seal against those pages, then pick the shape that matches. Getting the shape right first time avoids blowing joints and rattles once the system is back together.

Fit: work on a cold exhaust, scrape the old gasket residue off both flange faces, seat the new gasket squarely, then tighten the bolts evenly in stages so the seal compresses flat rather than pinching on one side. Check for leaks after the exhaust has been up to temperature and cooled again, and re-tighten if needed.
