Exoracing K03 Turbo Manifold Gasket Installation Guide:

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you install your new K03 turbo manifold gasket successfully. If you are not confident working on cars, we recommend a professional installation.

1. The first step to installing your K03 turbo manifold gasket is to secure your car and ensure everything has cooled down if it was recently running.
2. Remove anything from around the turbo that will prevent you from removing it from the manifold. This usually includes the downpipe, air filter and heat shielding.
3. Next, remove the oil/water lines from the turbo and be ready to catch any fluids that may spill during removal.
4. Now, you can remove the three bolts/studs that secure the turbo to the manifold and remove the turbo from the car.
5. Now that you have your turbo out of the vehicle, you can check the mating flanges for damage and warpages. If any are found, you must have the faces resurfaced to ensure a proper seal.
6. You can now reinstall your turbo to the manifold with your new gasket and reinstall the downpipe.
7. Tighten the hardware holding the turbo to the manufacturer’s specs using a calibrated torque wrench.
8. Reinstall your turbo oil/water lines and any other removed components.
9. Run your car through a few heat cycles, checking for exhaust leaks and making sure it cools down fully between cycles.
10. Recheck the torque values of the hardware to make sure everything is seated correctly.
