A three layer panel filter that replaces the standard element directly. Each layer serves a different purpose: a newly developed non-woven fabric catches larger dust particles first, with a polyurethane second layer taking the finer dust, giving the filter a longer life than a conventional design. Dividing and collecting the intake air in stages smooths flow through the filter and sharpens throttle response.
The layers are joined with a net-type bond rather than flame lamination, which leaves airflow undisturbed, and the dry three layer structure keeps resistance low.
A high strength double frame suits high power applications, with a redesigned top frame profile that helps air flow smoothly into the intake. The separate shield frame is a cushion type, so no rubber gasket is needed and the filter is easy to dispose of at replacement.
