BMW 3 Series Coupe E92 Front Splitter – Msport Style (2005-2008)

High Quality PU Plastic Lip Designed to Convert SE Model to Msport look.

This will fit SE 2005-2008 Pre-Lci bumper only.

New Part and requires prep and painting.

Fitting Steps

1. Preparation

   • Park on a flat surface and ensure the car is secure.

   • Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on axle stands.

   • Clean the underside of the front bumper — dirt or oil can affect fitment and alignment.

2. Test Fit

   • Hold the splitter up to the bumper (you may need a helper).

   • Check alignment with the bumper edges and wheel arches.

   • Use masking tape or temporary fasteners to position it correctly.

   • Mark mounting hole positions with a marker.

3. Check Clearance

   • Ensure there’s sufficient ground clearance — plastic splitters can flex but may crack if too low.

   • If adjustable support rods are used, mark their intended mounting points.

4. Drill Mounting Holes

   • Remove the splitter and drill pilot holes through your marked positions (usually 5–6 mm).

   • If using rivnuts, install them into the bumper holes now.

5. Final Mounting

   • Reposition the splitter and align it with the holes.

   • Secure using:

     • Self-tapping screws for basic installation, or

     • Bolts and rivnuts for a stronger, removable fit.

   • Work from the center outward to ensure the splitter stays straight and flush.

6. Optional – Add Support Rods

   • For larger or more aggressive splitters, use support rods that bolt to the bumper beam or crash bar.

   • Adjust for tension so they hold the splitter level.

7. Final Check

   • Double-check tightness of all fasteners.

   • Ensure there’s no interference with wheels or suspension on full lock.

   • Lower the car and inspect ground clearance again.
