The DNJ B Series Header Gasket is made by DNJ Engine Components. DNJ exhaust manifold gaskets are built to withstand extreme heat, pressure and corrosive exhaust conditions, using materials such as multi-layered steel, graphite composites and stainless steel reinforcement depending on the application.
Fitting
To fit the DNJ B Series Header Gasket: Clean the head and manifold faces, check the manifold face is flat, and fit the new gasket the correct way round. Use new nuts where possible and tighten them evenly from the centre outwards to the specified torque. Re-check the nuts after a few heat cycles.
Good to know
A blowing manifold gasket shows as a ticking noise on start-up and soot marks around the joint. Always fit a new gasket when fitting an aftermarket header. Compare the new part with the old one before fitting to confirm it matches.
