How it works

If you look inside an intake manifold, each runner has a curved bellmouth at its inlet, because that shape helps air enter the pipe more efficiently. A velocity stack brings the same idea to the end of a cold air intake, so air enters the pipe smoothly instead of tumbling over a sharp edge.

The velocity stack has a 6″ inlet and a 3″ outlet and is 2.25″ high. Fully assembled with the filter, the stack is 6.25″ high and 7.5″ in diameter, so check the space at the end of your intake before ordering.

What is in the kit

The complete kit includes a 6″ wide Dryflow filter (140mm high), the velocity stack, stainless steel clamps and a black 3″ silicone coupler to join the stack to your intake pipe.
