What they do

Tein S.Tech springs are a simple first step in suspension tuning. They lower the Subaru Impreza WRX and STI for a more aggressive look and better road holding, and they are developed to work with OEM or OEM replacement dampers, so the standard shocks stay on the car.

The Impreza WRX STI Springs are made from chrome vanadium SAE9254V and use a progressive rate design, so the rate rises as the spring compresses. That keeps small bumps comfortable while controlling body roll under load. They are finished in green powder coat.

Fitment

The Impreza WRX STI Springs fit the Subaru Impreza WRX (GDA) from 2003 to 2007 and the Impreza WRX STI (GDB) from 2003 to 2007, 2.0 AWD. The drop depends on the wheel stud pattern: about 35mm front and 25mm rear on WRX and 100mm PCD STI models, and about 30mm front and 15mm rear on 114.3mm PCD STI models. The Impreza WRX STI Springs kit contains 4 main springs, warranty information and a bump stop reference guide, with TEIN silencer rubbers on some applications. Stickers are not included with all JDM part numbers or every application.

Warranty

S.Tech springs come with a 1-year limited warranty. Spring length is guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm, and the springs are covered against manufacturer defects. The warranty covers over 5mm sag, breakage, deformity and noise, and does not cover the powder coat finish or rusting.

Fitting

Check that your dampers are in good condition before fitting the Impreza WRX STI Springs, and have the wheel alignment checked afterwards, because a lower ride height changes camber and toe.
