SRS O2 Sensor Hole Bolt (Universal)

Description

This o2 sensor bolt blanks an unused lambda/O2 bung on an SRS exhaust system, sealing the hole cleanly where an oxygen sensor is no longer fitted. Diameter 16 mm. SKU BOLT-02. It is machined as genuine SRS Exhaust Systems hardware, so the thread pitch matches the SRS weld-in bung exactly and it seats square without cross-threading or leaking.

This o2 sensor bolt suits any standard 16 mm lambda bung, whether you are blanking a redundant post-cat sensor position on a custom system or capping a spare bung left in a fabricated downpipe. Pair it with the SRS weld-in O2 sensor bung/nut if you also need the female fitting welded into your pipework, as the two parts thread together as a matched set.

How to fit

Thread the o2 sensor bolt into the bung by hand first to confirm the thread is clean, then nip it up with a spanner. Do not overtighten into a damaged or distorted thread, as this can gall the bung and make future sensor fitment difficult. A smear of copper grease on the threads before fitting keeps the bolt serviceable and easy to remove after repeated heat cycling. Check the joint for exhaust leaks once the system is up to temperature.
