What it does

The NTK OZA562-H7 measures oxygen in the exhaust and sends the reading to the ECU, which trims fuelling to keep the mixture correct for emissions and economy.

Design

The NTK OZA562-H7 has an 18mm thread and 22mm hex, with the OE type connector and attaching hardware for a plug in fit. A heated sensor reaches working temperature quickly after a cold start, so the ECU can move into closed loop fuel control sooner. The dual coated platinum element gives long life and a quick response.

Signs of a worn sensor

A tired sensor can respond slowly, which can show as poor fuel consumption, rough idle or a fault code. Fitting a new NTK OZA562-H7 restores a correct reading to the ECU.
