What it is
The OSRAM D2S Xenarc burners are OSRAM Original Line xenon bulbs for D2S headlights, supplied as a pair. The 4100K colour is closer to daylight than halogen light.
Specification
Each OSRAM D2S Xenarc burner uses a P32d-2 base, draws 35W at 85V and produces 3200 lumens, with a Tc lifespan of 3000 hours (B3 2000 hours). They carry E1 approval and must be run only with approved electronic control gear.
Signs of a worn burner
Xenon burners shift in colour and lose output with age, and one side often fails or flickers before the other. Changing both at once keeps the colour and brightness matched across the car.
Fitting
Xenon headlights run at high voltage, so disconnect the lamp and let it cool before changing a burner. Do not touch the glass of the OSRAM D2S Xenarc burners, and replace them in pairs for an even colour.
