SRS Exhaust Backbox G55-37 (Universal)

Description

This exhaust backbox is the SRS G55-37, a genuine stainless rear silencer built for universal fitment on tuned and standard exhaust systems. It is manufactured from high quality SUS 304 polished stainless steel, so it resists rust and road salt for years of use on Irish roads. The can measures 140 mm (5.5″), the inlet is 60,5 mm (2.5″) and the slant cut tip is 102 mm, giving a deep tone without an overly loud drone. A removable silencer insert lets you tune the volume, and all necessary gaskets and mounting material are included in the box. SKU G55-37.

This exhaust backbox is the larger sister of the universal exhaust muffler G50-26, so if you want a slightly smaller can with the same genuine SRS build quality, that model is the one to compare. If your setup is already fitted and simply too loud, an exhaust silencer insert is an easy way to bring the volume down again.

Every exhaust backbox we supply is genuine SRS stock, held and shipped by MCG Autostyling in Kells, Ireland. Please measure your existing pipe inlet before ordering to be sure the 60,5 mm inlet suits your system, and have the backbox fitted by a competent exhaust specialist. Welding or clamping may be required depending on your current setup.
