Why ShineMate Black Diamond Pads?

The ShineMate Black Diamond pads are a revolutionary new patent pending series of polishing pads developed for use with both a rotary and DA polisher. The ShineMate Black Diamond Series pads offer a number of unique features to create possibly the perfect polishing pads. The most notable feature is the diamond face, designed to reduce heat build and polish splatter. The diamond face reduces the surface friction keeping the surface cooler and more controlable.

The Black Diamond pads also have a angled edge design, so it’s possible to polish extremely accurately to the edges of panels. The other benefit of this design is it creates edge to edge backing of the velcro, which aids in centering the pad and on dual action polishers reduces the chance of pad failiure. The pads also feature a centre hole designed to reduce heat build up which can lead to premature failure of the pad. In summary, these pads were developed from the ground up to be the most effective on the market.

Green

Green T120 heavy cut foam is in solid construction, it fast removes the deep
scratches, over spray, 1200/1500# sanding disc marks, and heavy oxidation.
Cut like wool pad and leave high gloss finish.
Applicable for scratch resistant and high solid ceramic paints.

Red

Red T10 foam has very light cleaning action for removal of ultra-fine swirl marks,
car wash scratches, and hazing, leaving a swirl-free gloss finish when used in
conjunction with finishing polishes.

Orange

Orange T40 foam is universal and multi-purpose, it has a light cutting action, and
will remove scratches and swirl marks while leaving a level and smooth surface, can
be used in conjunction with heavy polishing compounds or micro-fine compounds.

Blue

Blue T60 foam has moderate cutting action that will remove 1500/2000# sand
scratches, over spray, and surface imperfections when used in conjunction with
polishing compounds.

Black

The ShineMate ‘Black Diamond’ Black Foam Pad has no cut and is deisgned for the application of waxes and sealants on delicate paint surfaces.

Yellow

Yellow T80 high cut foam has an intensive cutting action that will remove deep
scratches, over spray, severe swirl marks, 1500# sanding disc marks, and heavy
oxidation when used in conjunction with heavy polishing compounds.
