HKS Intercooler Kits (13001-AM006) R Type AL Intercooler, Front Mount Size : 525mm x 304mm x 103mm
R type core, which is large capacity + low pressure loss type, was selected. Performance will be improved even with stock ECU.
High performance “”φ70 Piping spec”” and low cost “”. (Stock Piping is φ60.)
Core size (525 x 304 x 103), Stock (490 x 292 x 65)
Stock air cleaner box, Racing Suction Reloaded, SSQV, Intercooler Piping Kit can be used together.
Remarks
Modification of head lamp support upper panel, reinforcement and air con pipe are required during installation.
Re-setting of ECU is not required.
Area of core will be larger than stock and it is thicker. Therefore, upgrading of radiator is recommended for sport driving.
Polished Aluminum Piping
R TYPE is for twin turbo of GT-RS series and GT30 series turbine ~T51R turbine class. It will have more power from the low to mid RPM range of cornering and the high RPM of straight. It’s also 25% lighter than old item.
(1) Inner Fin (triangular straight type)
We adopted triangular straight type for less pressure loss of air flow.
(2) Outer Fin (triangular louver type)
Like S TYPE, we adopted triangular louver type for outer fin.
